Have you seen the Star Wars Uncut Project?!
Back in 2009 a developer at Vimeo named Casey Pugh decided to embark
on an ambitious project to recreate the original Star Wars film. And
he decided the best way to do this was to get the fans to re-create
scenes from the movie in all manner of styles, and then to edit it all
together into a crowd-sourced fan film the likes of which the universe
had never seen.
Split into 473 clips, each 15 seconds in length, users claimed the
clip they wanted and re-interpreted it however they saw fit, which
resulted in some pretty amazing and hilarious results ranging from
stop-motion LEGO to cardboard box Millennium Falcons, animations and
whatever else their imaginations could devise.
This is Swedeing to the umpteenth degree!
How “RETURN OF THE JEDI” Should Have Ended.
How It Should Have Ended usually does a great job re-doing the end of famous films but this time…they’ve done an amazing job. The HISHE team goes a bit further with their changes toReturn of the Jedi in their first short of 2012, and shows us not only how the ending could have been done differently, but several other key points in the film as well. And the very end? Let’s just say it seems as though HISHE doesn’t think George Lucas went far enough with his edits and additions.
